Do not take this combination as sedatives and medical marijuana both cause sleepiness and taking these together might cause too much sleepiness

Interaction Rating: Major

Do not take this combination as sedatives and medical marijuana both cause sleepiness and taking these together might cause too much sleepiness

 

Some sedative medications include clonazepam (Klonopin), lorazepam (Ativan), phenobarbital (Donnatal) and zolpidem (Ambien)

 

THEOPHYLLINE

Interaction Rating: Major

Do not take this combination as medical marijuana might decrease the effects of theophylline

 

DISULFIRAM (ANTABUSE)

Interaction Rating: Moderate

Be cautious with this combination as Disulfiram (Antabuse) might interact with medical marijuana and can cause agitation, trouble sleeping, and irritability (speak with your healthcare provider)

 

FLUOXETINE (PROZAC)
